Cingular Launches Push To Talk Service

Cingular Wireless today launched their version of Push To Talk (PTT) services. Nextel, now Sprint Nextel, pioneered Push To Talk service many years ago with Verizon Wireless following after. Cingular PTT offers many unique features such as call groups, call waiting and availability information. Cingular Wireless Push To Talk also offers the ability to convert a push to talk conversation to a standard phone conversation and the ability to manage your call groups online. Currently Cingular is only offer two PTT compatible handsets; the LG F7200 (slider) and the Samsung D357 (flip). More information can be found at www.cingular.com/ptt.
