Alltel Releases KX16 Cameraphone

Alltel announced today another addition to their camera phone line up, the KX16. The KX16 is a clamshell-style color camera phone offering a built-in flash and five-step digital zoom. The camera features multi-shot adjustment, auto-focus, self-timer, white balance and color effects adjustment. The KX16 can support Alltel Axcess applications, including downloadable musictones, ringtones, wallpapers and screensavers. The handset also features built-in polyphonic ring tones, screen savers and caller alerts. Starting at $29.99 (with two-year service agreement), the KX16 is possibly the most affordable camera phone offered by any provider.
