Alltel Releases KX5 Slider Phone

Alltel announced today the availability of the new Kyocera Slider Remix KX5 camera phone. The sleek, black handset offers digital music storage and playback, a 1.3 mega-pixel camera, Bluetooth capabilities for hands-free operation and a large 176 x 220 pixel color display. The KX5 includes an expandable memory slot for TransFlash micro SD cards to store up to 512Mb of music and pictures. Kyocera will also be offering a full line of accessories including the Kyocera Music Dock, a sync and charging cradle that plays music directly from the phone through any desktop speakers or headphones. Or, there’s the Kyocera K500 Gamepad, an eight-directional gaming controller for a console-like gaming experience.
