How to: SMS Block Error on Sony Ericsson Phones

Issue: You get the error message “SMS Block†on your favorite Sony Ericsson phone when you try to send a text message.
Resolution: The SMS access must be set to GSM in order for the phone to be able to send SMS; if the device is set to GPRS the phone may return the error in some regions.
To access this on your phone go to:
- Menu
- Connect
- Data Comm
- SMS Access
Also be sure that your service provider has enabled SMS / Text Message access on your account.
