HP hw6900 Announced

HP today introduced the latest addition to the iPAQ family; the hw6900. The hw6900 is the latest Pocket PC to support Windows Mobile 5.0 with Messaging and Security Feature Pack. The Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 Messaging and Security Feature Pack allows HP iPAQ hw6900 customers to automatically receive new email, calendar items, tasks or contacts without incurring additional email middleware expenses.
HP hw6900 features include:
- Intel PXA270 Processor 416 MHZ
- GSM/GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi (802.11b), Bluetooth 1.2
- Integrated Mini-SD
- 3.0″ transflective TFT display, 240 x 240 resolution, 64K colors
- Word Mobile, Excel Mobile, PowerPoint Mobile, Internet Explorer Mobile, Windows Media Player 10 Mobile
The HP iPAQ hw6900 series is expected to be available in the Asia Pacific and Europe, Middle East and Africa regions this spring and in North America in summer; pricing has yet to be announced.
