Alltel to debut Celebrity Wireless Autographs

Arizona Cardinals star quarterback Kurt Warner, Kristin Cavallari of Laguna Beach and recording artist Ruben Studdard will participate in Alltel’s first-ever ‘Wireless Autographs’ event in Phoenix on Thursday, March 30, 2006. You’ve seen ringtones and wallpapers before, but this is a new, innovative way for cell phone users to customize their phones. Whereas typical autographs can only be shared with others in person, these “Wireless Autographs” are accessible to anyone who calls your wireless phone.
As a customer-centric company, we remain committed to offering our current and potential customers a multitude of customization options including ringtones and wallpaper, but our all-new ‘Wireless Autographs’ really take phone personalization to the next level. Phoenix-area consumers will have the chance to interact with some of their favorite celebrities and at the same time add a memorable touch to yet another part of their wireless experience.
Each celebrity will be in an Alltel store in the Phoenix area recording what they call “Wireless Autographs.” Any customer or fan will be able to come into the stores and get a personalized voicemail message recorded on their wireless phone by one of the celebrities.
Warner, Cavallari and Studdard will offer their ‘Wireless Autographs’ from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. MST with Warner appearing at the Los Tiendas Alltel store located at 2815 S Alma School Rd. in Chandler, Ariz., Cavallari at the Arcadia store at 2651 N 44th St. and Studdard at the Surprise, Ariz. store at 14071 W Bell Rd.
