Alltel Releases Streaming Music Service

Alltel announced today that more than 40 channels of commercial-free streaming music are now available to users of select Alltel handsets.
Axcess Radio enables Alltel customers to listen to the music of their choice when and where they want via their wireless phones. We think younger customers in particular will love the freedom and convenience of being able to enjoy their favorite music anywhere on America’s largest wireless network.
Axcess Radio organizes music by genre, including pop, country and rock. The service was developed for Alltel by MobiTV.
Axcess Radio is available for $6.99 per month on the Motorola RAZR V3c and the Kyocera KX5. Axcess Radio will be available on additional handsets over the next few months. Alltel customers can download the application from the Axcess Shop on their wireless phones.
