Cingular Announces Pantech C300 for GoPhone

Cingular Wireless and Pantech announced plans today to release the Pantech C300 as part of Cingular’s GoPhone prepaid services. The C300 is currently the smallest camera flip phone available, measuring in at under three inches long.
The launch of the C300 in the U.S. represents a huge step forward in the development of Pantech as a global brand. Pantech, South Korea’s second largest handset vendor and seventh largest in the world, has been focusing on extending its brand beyond its domestic market. Each of the company’s Pantech-branded handsets in the U.S. market is considered a moment in the sun in terms of brand recognition.
Cingular is expected to offer the C300 at $119.99 for GoPhone subscribers.
