SEVEN signs HP to Push Email Across Europe

June 26th, 2006

SEVEN’s presence in all the countries in which HP Preferred Partners operate ensures ongoing local support. Combined with SEVEN’s competitive introductory offer, it is a compelling solution for both HP Preferred Partners and their customers.

There are three versions of Always-On Mail, ensuring HP Preferred Partners have the right solution to meet each customer’s needs;

  • Internet Edition – providing real-time, push-based access for individual users to the most popular personal email services such as Google Mail and Yahoo! Mail
  • Professional Edition – extending the benefits of push-email to small businesses and departments of up to 25 users within enterprises
  • Enterprise Edition – offering a server-based, behind-the-firewall service which provides real-time access to all major corporate email platforms including Microsoft Exchange and Lotus Domino

Each Always-On Mail edition is supported by end-to-end 128-bit AES encryption for secure user authentication. No data is replicated to third-party servers, and data can be remotely erased from lost or stolen devices.

“HP’s decision to promote and sell SEVEN Always-On Mail is a great endorsement of the product. The combination of HP’s market-leading device and our proven software adds immediate value to customers and revenue opportunities for its channel,” said Paul Hedman, Chief Operating Officer, SEVEN. “This partnership creates a fantastic range of mobility options for customers across Europe, extending the benefits of mobile email to an ever wider range of users. I believe it will be a great success.”
