Alltel Enables Mobile Credit Card Payments

Alltel Wireless released today a new feature that will enable mobile professionals the ability to charge and process customers credit card while on the road.
MobileCharge gives sales professionals the freedom to take secure, real-time payments outside of the office. MobileCharge is a great tool for companies whose salesforces routinely meet clients in the field. Working on Alltel’s wireless network, it improves cash flow by enabling immediate payment and saves money by reducing back-office expenses.
The MobileCharge software, developed by MobileVision, is being bundled with a magnetic stripe reader and printer from Infinite Peripherals. It works on the BlackBerry 7250 and 7130e and the Palm Treo from Alltel.
