Cingular Releases Good Technology’s Lotus Domino Email Solution

Cingular Wireless and Good Technology announced today the release of the Good Technology E-mail solution for IBM Lotus Domino mail servers. The new Domino solution is being offered initially on the Cingular 8100 & 8125, HP hw6500 Pocket PCs, the 2125 Smartphone and Palm Treo devices.
Our new Lotus Domino solution from Good reinforces that Good Mobile Messaging continues to be a popular and important component in Cingular’s wireless e-mail portfolio. This new Good Mobile Messaging solution from Cingular gives companies that use the Lotus Domino platform a powerful choice with which to access their e-mail and other important information wirelessly. Plus, because the Good solution is through Cingular, customers gain several inherent and unique advantages, including the ability to access their information nationwide via the largest national high- speed wireless data network in the U.S. and also abroad in more than 100 countries.
GoodMobile Messaging for IBM Lotus Domino from Cingular provides a two- way, wirelessly synchronized connection to IBM Lotus Notes functions and other features. It provides enterprise-class, FIPS 140-2-certified security including end-to-end AES data encryption, remote data wipe and remote password policy management. It also includes Secure Over-The-Air device provisioning and management featuring Zero-IT-Touch activations and upgrades of Good Mobile Messaging and third-party applications for simplified IT administration.
