MobiTV Announces plans to Support WiMAX

Shortly after the announcement of plans for WiMAX advancements by Sprint Nextel, MobiTV had announced its official support for the WiMAX standard. MobiTV has been investing heavily in research and technology development to support the latest wireless network standards and the company is now committed to deploying advanced mobile television and media delivery services over WiMAX networks. The support for the new 802.16 standards has been under development at MobiTV for the past several quarters in partnership with several leaders in the wireless and technology industries.
MobiTV expects to continue conducting research on a number of network standards as they emerge in order to meet the needs of the Company’s international partners.
