Disney Delays UK MVNO Plans

August 15th, 2006

Disney has confirmed that it is postponing the launch of a virtual network in the UK. The company had signed an MVNO agreement with Telefonica’s O2 network but has now decided not to launch the network. Disney had already appointed an executive team to oversee the launch of the UK mobile service. Disney Mobile is still currently available for US based consumers despite a slow first quarter.
