Cingular Launches 3G HSDPA in Columbus Ohio

Cingular Wireless announced today the expansion of its powerful 3G HSDPA services in Columbus Ohio. Commercially known as BroadbandConnect, HSDPA/UMTS offers high speed data connectivity for wireless handsets and mobile data cards.
We’re giving customers the ability to securely access information and applications at broadband speeds in the office, on the road or at home. With our 3G service, almost any spot in a city is a hot spot. BroadbandConnect complements our national high-speed EDGE data service, offering customers the flexibility and ubiquity required to be more productive as the world continues to go wireless.
In addition to the BroadbandConnect service, 3G phones allow Cingular to provide Cingular Video, Cingulars popular on-demand streaming video service.
