
Sprint Announces BlackBerry 8703e

Sprint and Research In Motion (RIM) today introduced the BlackBerry 8703e from Sprint with updated features, including EV-DO support and Global Positioning Satellite (GPS) capabilities.
The BlackBerry 8703e with integrated GPS (assisted-GPS) enabled through Sprint, will deliver support for popular location-based services to mobile users, such as turn-by-turn driving directions to any address, anywhere on the Nationwide Sprint PCS Network.
BlackBerry 8703e features include:
- 64 MB of RAM
- Sprint EV-DO and 1XRTT CDMA
- 2.1†x 1.5†TFT display with 65K colors and 320 x 240 resolution
- Bluetooth
- Integrated Attachment Viewing
- Speakerphone
The BlackBerry 8703e will be available Oct. 1, 2006 for $349.99 after a new two-year service agreement.
