Is it possible that two major wireless providers can claim to be number one? According to T-Mobile, they are now number one offering the fewest dropped calls nationwide as well as best call clarity. According to the fine print T-Mobile can now make that claim.
Clearest sounding calls nationwide’ and ‘Fewest dropped calls’ claims based on a leading independent research organization’s MOS and dropped call results derived from 12-month (June ’05-June ’06), voice drive study conducted in 35 major metropolitan areas which encompass 47% of total US population, which cover a geographic cross-section of US, and in which each of the major national wireless providers offers service.
T-Mobile is asking potential subscribers to check for themselves online. T-Mobile is one of the few providers that do offer an online coverage tool that will display coverage in your home area prior to making your decision. The Personal Coverage Check will allow users to zoom down to street level for better detail.
T-Mobile’s new claims and promotions are part of a new aggressive campaign to be the nation’s number one provider. The provider has also chosen to drop its celebrity pitchwomen and tag line for a new theme dubbed “Stick Togetherâ€.
