Palm Announces Treo 680 for Cingular Wireless

Cingular Wireless and Palm announced today that the new Treo 680 is expected to release on Friday November 24th. The Palm Treo 680 supports the classic Palm OS and has replaced the stub antenna for a newer internal style for a more modern look.
Treo 680 features include:
- Palm OS 5.4.9
- Intel PXA270 312 MHz processor
- Quad band GSM (850/900/1800/1900 MHz) GPRS/EDGE-class
- Bluetooth 1.2
- Speakerphone
- 320 x 320 pixel touchscreen display
- SD memory card support
Palm is also offering the new Treo in four new colors, Artic, Copper, Crimson and the classic Graphite; but Cingular will only be offering the Graphite colored handheld. Unlocked versions will be offered in all colors directly from Palm and its vendors for $399.99.
Cingular Wireless will be offering the new Treo 680 for $199.99 after rebates and new two-year service agreement.
